HANSAmed Limited, established in 1996, boasts a rich history as a specialty pharmaceutical and medical device distributor. We are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of the Canadian dental professional community, with a strong emphasis on addressing the specialized education and product-related requirements of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, implantologists, general practitioners, and hygienists.

Throughout our journey, we've achieved numerous significant milestones. Notably, we earned the exclusive distributorship of Ultracaine®, the pioneering articaine-based dental anesthetic, a groundbreaking development in our industry. We have also expanded our portfolio to include Arestin®, a valuable addition for the adjunctive treatment of periodontal disease.

We proudly represent renowned brands in bone and soft tissue bioregeneration: Geistlich Biomaterials®, which have played a vital role in our dedication to delivering superior solutions to our valued customers. In 2015, we entered the field of medical emergency preparedness with the launch of Lighthouse™ Medical Emergency products and services.

Then, in late 2022, we celebrated the unification of HANSAmed and Citagenix, officially uniting as one entity. This union not only expanded our catalog of regeneration solutions but also broadened our reach to serve customers in Canada, the United States, and around the world.

Additionally, our Health Canada approved distribution facility plays a pivotal role by offering third-party logistics (3PL) services to life science manufacturers, including esteemed names like Philips Health Care and Nanosonics. Our extensive licensing permits us to import, wholesale, and distribute drugs and medical devices.
